An alarming incident unfolded on a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv when co-pilot attacked pilot Smit Machchhar, resulting in a mid-air emergency landing. Machchhar’s quick thinking enabled him to unlock the cockpit door, facilitating crew intervention. Passengers stepped in heroically to restrain the co-pilot.
