A major rescue operation is underway in west Kolkata’s Taratala area after an under-construction warehouse roof collapsed, trapping several workers. Four individuals have been pulled from the debris so far. Multiple agencies, including the police, disaster management, and army, are working tirelessly to clear the rubble and locate those still missing. State government control rooms have been established to manage the situation.
