A police encounter resulted in the death of Arvind Singh after he refused to surrender during a standoff. During the incident, he was holding his three children hostage, leading to a police operation. Arvind had killed his wife and two priests following a dispute concerning a religious ritual at home. His eight-year-old son was also critically injured and later died from his injuries.
