A Surat restaurant faced closure after a child died and three others were hospitalized. Health officials found spoiled food items during an inspection of the establishment. These items included chana dal, vegetables, and exposed paneer which were destroyed. The affected family reportedly consumed food purchased from the restaurant on August 15. Further action will be taken against the owner under the Food Safety Act.
