Passport seized, alert issued as cops hunt Kazakh coach accused of raping minor

A 34-year-old foreign coach has been booked under the Pocso Act for allegedly raping a minor cyclist. The coach, Maxat Ayazbayev, is currently untraceable since the complaint was filed last week. Investigations revealed that the assault took place during a training camp at the National Centre of Excellence on September 13. The Cycling Federation of India has suspended Ayazbayev and initiated an internal inquiry into the allegations.
