A fire in Noida’s Mamura village claimed two lives and highlighted safety issues. An e-scooter charging on a regular socket is suspected to have started the blaze. Flames then spread to petrol vehicles, creating an inferno on the ground floor. Around fifty tenants were safely evacuated from the multi-storey residential building. The building’s landlord was arrested following the tragic incident.
