After a decade of service, The Primary School, a free private institution, has officially closed its doors. This decision follows the conclusion of financial backing from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and the school’s inability to meet state academic standards. As a result, approximately 540 students are set to transfer to the Ravenswood City Elementary School District, with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative facilitating their transition and savings.
