An earthquake of magnitude five struck Tibet on Thursday. Rescue operations continue following catastrophic flooding near the Gyirong border crossing. The only road to the crossing reopened, allowing heavy machinery access. Authorities reported twenty-one deaths and 541 people remain missing. Landslides continue to pose a significant concern for rescue teams.
