Two Class 10 students were apprehended for the murder of principal Roopa Reddy. Police allege the students killed her after she caught one stealing from her home. Investigators noticed the students spending money lavishly after the murder occurred. Forensic examination detected blood traces on cash recovered from one student. The juveniles have been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board for further proceedings.
