A consumer court ordered Maruti Suzuki to replace a Grand Vitara with an E20-compatible model. The complainant alleged technical issues after E20 petrol became available. The court found the manufacturer and dealer guilty of deficiency in service. Maruti Suzuki must replace the SUV or pay its full value. The company also faces a compensation payment for mental agony.
