A trainee IPS officer now faces rape and attempt-to-murder charges. These new charges were added after the initial complaint of sexual assault. The officer was previously arrested and sent to judicial remand for fourteen days. The woman IPS trainee had lodged her complaint eleven days prior to the arrest. The case involves allegations of sexual misconduct and privacy violations at SVPNPA.
