The Cockroach Janata Party reported that their co-incharge, Deepak Baliyan, was detained by Rajasthan Police. This incident occurred ahead of the planned protest in Delhi against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. While party leaders accused police of forceful detention, the police denied such claims. Protests against Kumar have also been held in Bengaluru by various activists and groups.
