A devotee was injured when a speeding car collided with a parked motorcycle near a tea stall. The incident occurred at Maninagar bridge while the devotee was having tea after visiting Kulasekarapattinam Mutharamman Temple. Bystanders reported that the car driver fled the scene immediately after the accident took place. Fortunately, the person on the motorcycle escaped unharmed, but another devotee suffered severe head injuries.
