‘Beat her over petty issues’: Pune techie jumps to death; husband, in-law booked

A 27-year-old software engineer tragically ended her life by jumping from her Pune residence on Thursday. Her brother’s complaint alleges that her husband and mother-in-law subjected her to persistent harassment and physical abuse over minor matters. The couple, who met at a software firm, married in November 2024. Police have registered a case against the husband and his relatives for abetting the suicide.
