Ambulance stopped for CM Himanta’s convoy: 4 Assam cops suspended

Four traffic cops in Silchar were suspended for briefly halting an ambulance to clear a path for CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. The incident occurred while attempting to transport a critically ill patient to the hospital. Sarma later apologized to the family and stated that emergency medical care should take priority over VIP movement.
