A recent ruling by an appeals court has overturned a foreclosure decision related to a property in Babylon, New York. The court determined that Bank of America did not give the borrower adequate notice prior to starting foreclosure procedures and failed to show that it had the necessary standing in the case. Consequently, the court rejected the bank’s request for a summary judgment against the estate of Alice McNamara.
