Shyam Patil and his wife Sapna were discovered dead in the Tapi river in Dhule. Their bodies were chained together, indicating a possible suicide after their last phone call. Local residents reported seeing a motorcycle parked near the river before the discovery. Shyam had contacted his brother-in-law shortly before their presumed drowning, stating that everything was over.
