Himashri Boro, a 20-year-old student from Assam, was travelling alone after a dance competition. She felt unsafe in her train compartment due to inebriated men surrounding her and reached out to her family. Contact was lost between 2:30am and 3:00am, prompting her family to alert the railway authorities. Her body was later discovered near railway tracks in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district.
