The Election Commission is facing questions over reported disagreements between two election commissioners and the CEC on electoral-roll management, decision-making and access to voter data. The controversy has also revived broader concerns over how dissent is handled within the poll panel, the role of the CEC, the appointment of election commissioners and safeguards for voters during large-scale roll revisions.
