3-day bank strike from Sept 28: Central govt employees to get salary early on Sept 25

The salaries and pensions for central government employees and pensions will be credited on September 25, ahead of a three-day bank strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). The proposed strike also falls during the half-yearly closing period for the banking sector.
