A 17-year-old girl seeking help after leaving home was gang-raped on a moving sleeper bus. Two men offered her a ride, then sexually assaulted her for about thirty kilometers. They abandoned the teenager near Kashmere Gate after the alleged crime. Police arrested the driver and conductor within hours of the complaint being filed. The incident raises safety concerns for passengers on private buses.
