Morgues in Nepal are overflowing with bodies from a recent flash flood. Authorities are converting buildings into temporary mortuaries as district facilities are full. Hundreds of security personnel are searching riverbanks for more recovered remains. Bodies are being moved between districts for preservation and identification efforts. Unidentified bodies have also surfaced downstream in Indian districts along the Gandak river.
