Scientists build AI robot that acts like an angry parent to train teachers

Australian researchers developed an AI robot named Fletch to help trainee teachers. Fletch simulates difficult parent conversations, allowing practice in a safe environment. This robot adapts its responses, making interactions feel more realistic for educators. It aims to reduce teacher stress and improve retention rates in schools. La Trobe University and several Victorian schools will use Fletch for training purposes.
