The Centre withheld permission for Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s US visit. This decision came after reports of planned political meetings with US leaders emerged. The ministry stated the proposed program was inappropriate for the CM’s official visit. Revanth Reddy is currently in the United Kingdom, meeting educational institutions. His deputy called the denial of permission unfortunate and politically motivated.
