A large crowd gathered at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for a protest. These protesters demanded changes to the existing caste-based reservation system. Delhi Police had clearly stated that no permission was granted for this demonstration. Security forces were deployed and barricades were installed as a precautionary measure. Legal action was warned against those spreading false information about the protest.
