A young teacher died by suicide following alleged dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws. The victim faced months of physical and mental abuse after her marriage last November. Her family filed a police complaint accusing her husband and his relatives of cruelty. Authorities registered a dowry death case against the accused individuals and family members. An investigation is currently underway following the tragic incident in Dehradun.
