A massive explosion at a rod manufacturing unit killed four workers. Several other workers sustained injuries in the incident on Sunday. The blast occurred at the KD Global Infrastructure plant in Cachar district. Rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched immediate relief operations. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause.
