20-yr-old army officer’s son dies after car falls into open drain in south Delhi

Tragedy struck Vasant Kunj when a 20-year-old student named Yashvendra lost his life after his car rolled into an open drain. Having just returned from the United States, he was accompanied by a woman who managed to escape unharmed. Poor road conditions, exacerbated by recent rainfall, caused the car to skid. The police later retrieved both the vehicle and Yashvendra’s body from the drain.
