Premium petrol grades will continue to be ethanol-free for consumers. The government has no plans to reintroduce lower ethanol blends like E0 or E10. Current ethanol blending in regular petrol will remain at twenty percent. No widespread adverse impacts have been reported from E20 fuel usage. Future decisions on higher blending will follow extensive studies and consultations.
