1 dead, several vehicles crushed after crane collapses from high-rise in Mumbai

A 21-year-old man died and another was seriously injured after a large tower crane collapsed. The incident occurred at an under-construction building in Mira Road East on Thursday night. Several cars and two-wheelers parked inside the housing complex were also damaged. The crane fell partly within the construction site and into the society’s parking area. An investigation into the exact cause of the crane collapse is currently underway.
