A 69-year-old man allegedly defrauded hotels across India for nearly three decades. He admitted to modelling his criminal lifestyle on notorious conman Charles Sobhraj. The man was arrested in Bhubaneswar after fleeing a Raipur hotel without paying a large bill. He had previously spent fifteen years in various Indian prisons for similar offenses. Police stated he viewed hotels as tourist destinations and prisons as his home stay.
