Civic hospital workers in Kalyan-Dombivli suspended operations on Tuesday in response to an alleged assault. Protesters are vocally demanding accountability for those involved in the attack. While emergency care is still being provided, talks are currently taking place with hospital officials. Should their requirements not be addressed by Wednesday, private practitioners are expected to join the protest. Enhanced security protocols will be implemented at civic hospitals as a precaution.
